The outside of this ankle-high shoe is made from soft, strikingly grained buffalo leather. It has been carefully polished by hand and has an antiqued finish and a beautiful shine. The inside of the shoe is lined with supple calfskin. The combination of soft leather and six pairs of eyelets allows the shoe to adapt well to the individual shape of the foot. The insole is padded, which makes it even more comfortable to wear. The highly profiled rubber outsole provides good grip on most surfaces. The shaft edge is a real eye-catcher: it is slit in a V-shape at the back and the leather upper is "flared" in two layers.

Pawelk's is an Italian shoe label known for its handmade leather goods. It goes back to the young craftsman Antonio Benegiamo from Salento, who decided to set up his own company in his garage at home in the village of Trepuzzi in the province of Lecce - today we would call it a start-up. Success followed and "Calzaturificio Benegiamo" grew steadily. Antonio Benegiamo died in 2017, but his passion and creativity live on in every model - not least in the shoes of the in-house brand Pawelk's. The company is now run by the third generation and the shoes are still made entirely in Italy. The focus is on combining traditional craftsmanship and innovation, which is reflected in both the design and the comfort of the shoes.

The outsole may leave colored marks on the shoe or floor due to abrasion.
