Men’s Buccanoy Shirt Made of Striped Cotton Linen Fabric
Classic shape. Revived
Shirts of this type date back to the 1920s. Their short stand-up collars offered the possibility of buttoning an additional elegant collar. They enjoyed great popularity until the 1940s, when they were more and more replaced by the now common shirts with turn-down collars. For some years now, however, they have been celebrating a renaissance, albeit without the additional collar. Pike Brothers equips the shirt with a breast pocket that is true to the pattern.
Pike Brothers. Tried and tested, but not yesterday's news
With its garments from the world of workwear made according to historical models, the label Pike Brothers from Bad Feilnbach in Upper Bavaria proves that good looks and practical utility are by no means mutually exclusive. While creative minds at other companies work out the cuts, at Pike Brothers historical originals from a wide variety of work areas and with a wide variety of material requirements are first collected, then dissected and finally reconstructed: cuts are taken 1:1, fabrics are reissued in collaboration with tradition-conscious weaving mills and, last but not least, the garments are handmade in selected European tailor shops. This results in products that not only tell a story visually, they are also highly functional, just like their models, and offer maximum comfort - no matter what the activity.
