Strong raw denim is the fabric Tellason uses to make these jeans. The characterful cotton fabric has a dark, almost black-blue tone. The fabric is traditionally made - you can tell by the real selvages on the inside. The well-thought-out cut and detailed design make them comfortable to wear. The straight, wide-leg jeans are fastened with a zipper and button. They have belt loops and button-fastening tabs at the sides to adjust the waist size. Two patch pockets at the front and two large patch flap pockets with a button at the back can hold small items for everyday wear.

Behind Tellason, based in San Francisco, are Tony Patella and Pete Searson. Both bring a fair amount of experience to the table: Before they started their own business a few years ago, they had already spent two decades in the clothing industry as made-to-order clothing manufacturers. Since then, they have made a good name for themselves with their brand. Inspired by found pieces from the working world, they create particularly authentic garments. When making up garments, they like to use tried and tested fabrics, especially textiles full of character, for example, denim from Japan or weaves used for guild clothing from Germany.
