Timeless, functional and durable. Men's jackets with character

A jacket should not only emphasize your personality in the best possible way and add the finishing touch to your outfit, it should also be of such high quality that you can feel comfortable in it for a long time. At least that is our claim. That's why we offer you timelessly beautiful men's jackets in our range, designed for the future and for far more than just one season. This includes classics such as parkas, denim jackets and leather jackets as well as functional jackets and winter jackets - produced in a high-quality and socially responsible manner by responsible manufacturers. Our jackets will accompany you through all weathers, summer and winter, and are preferably made from natural, wear-friendly and durable materials: from light and airy linen and dense cotton fabrics to warming wool fabrics and robust leather.

Skin-friendly and suitable for summer. Lightweight men's jackets

Our summery men's jackets - whether blousons, shirt jackets or denim jackets - score points with their casual cuts, so that you can get through the warm season comfortably and well-dressed. Our selection of skin-friendly and airy materials such as linen and cotton also ensures that you won't start sweating too quickly, even when temperatures rise. Linen, for example, can absorb up to 35 percent of its own weight in moisture. As this is quickly released into the surrounding air, linen dries quickly and has a slightly cooling effect on the skin. Cotton can also absorb a lot of moisture without feeling wet, it is particularly permeable to air and dissipates excess heat well to the outside.

When the weather does what it wants. Functional jackets

Are you a fresh air fanatic and only moderately weather-shy? Then a functional jacket that protects you from precipitation, wind and cold is the right choice for you. Unfortunately, the fabrics used for this are usually made from newly extracted, petroleum-based chemical fibers such as polyester, nylon, polyamide or polyurethane, and are often given a Teflon coating made from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and other perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals (PFAS) - a real no-go for people who love the outdoors. That's why we looked around the market for alternatives - and found what we were looking for. Our range includes parkas made from Etaproof®, a wax-based impregnated cotton fabric that simply repels rain, as well as wind and water-repellent softshell jackets made from cotton. We also have skin-friendly, insulating fleece jackets made from 100% organic cotton or merino wool. And our men's jackets made of breathable, hard-wearing and abrasion-resistant twisted double pilot (English leather) also offer protection from cool winds thanks to the dense fabric.

An honest skin. The leather jacket

It is a true fashion icon that has reinvented itself again and again over the course of time: the leather jacket. Durable and above short-lived trends, it is a stylish character piece that literally lasts for decades and can be worn with almost any outfit in any season. We offer long-lasting jackets made from glove-soft deerskin, warm and supple lambskin or robust cowhide and horse leather. With many of our leather jackets, the leather shows its "honest skin": the natural grain structure and the traces of an animal's life, such as insect bites or thorn cracks, remain visible. Each leather jacket is therefore an unmistakably unique piece that develops an extraordinary patina with use and becomes increasingly beautiful over the years.

A real evergreen. The parka

Who invented it? In the case of the parka, it was the Inuit who not only gave this item of clothing its shape, but also its name: "parqaaq", which means heat. In the past, the Inuit traditionally sewed their parkas by hand from leather and fur to provide effective protection against the cold. Due to its high functionality, the parka was mainly worn by the military in the 1940s, until it found its way into civilian life in the 1960s. It soon became a classic that is now an integral part of the fashion world. Characteristic features of the parka are the movement-friendly cut, the (detachable) hood, the high-closing zipper and the large pockets at pelvic level. The parka is often equipped with a wind and rain-repellent outer fabric and warm padding or filling, making it a comfortable companion in winter and the transitional period. The parka goes well with casual outfits, but can also be combined with business clothing for a deliberate break in style.

Cozy and warm. Men's wool jackets

A jacket made of wool is a good companion for cold winter days that won't leave you out in the rain even in damp weather. This is because wool fibers are heavily crimped, creating cavities between them that can make up to 85 percent of their volume. These tiny air chambers have an insulating effect, preventing body heat from escaping to the outside. Raindrops roll off the surface of the wool fiber and water vapor is absorbed. Wool can absorb up to 35 percent of its own weight in moisture without feeling wet. But it's not just the wool that keeps you warm. Special weaving and knitting techniques used in the production of the coat fabric make the material denser, providing additional protection against snow, wind and rain. Wool is not only ideal as an outer fabric for winter jackets, but also keeps you nice and warm as a natural filling material in the form of wool fleece.

Cold-resistant, feather-light and cruelty-free. Men's jackets with down filling

Down consists of a barely visible core with silky soft down legs arranged in a radial pattern. Together they form a flake-like structure and can therefore trap a large amount of air, which ensures that body heat is not lost. As down is very elastic and durable, it springs back into its fluffy shape when compressed. What's more, they are literally as light as a feather, as one down only weighs around 0.001 to 0.002 grams. A jacket with down filling will therefore get you through icy winter days for a long time without any worries. An important listing criterion for our collection: our manufacturers are committed to using down and feathers that are obtained without animal suffering and are by-products of food production. This means that neither live plucking nor down and feathers from ducks and geese from fattening are used.

But recycled, please. Men's jackets with synthetic fiber filling

Synthetic fibers are increasingly being used as an alternative to down for the fillings of winter jackets. Some of these synthetic fibers actually have down-like properties: they are light, insulating and, unlike down, even keep you warm when they are damp, which is a particular advantage during sporting activities. However, because synthetic fibers are produced on the basis of crude oil, we make sure that our collection contains as many recycled raw materials as possible - regardless of whether the synthetic fibers are used as filling or outer fabric.

This will keep your jacket beautiful for a long time. Care tips

First things first: Before you put your hands on your jacket, please follow the manufacturer's instructions on the label, as every material has different care and cleaning requirements.

  • Airing instead of washing: Give your jacket an "air wash" from time to time. This not only works perfectly on a covered balcony, but also in the bathroom during or after a hot bath or shower. Many unpleasant odors will literally disappear into thin air
  • Cleaning and care in one wash cycle: If your jacket is washable, do not use aggressive detergents - for the sake of the environment, of course. Instead, use a mild care product that is suitable for the material in question. For example, jackets with down filling should be washed with a special down detergent. This ensures gentle cleaning while at the same time moisturizing the down. No matter what fabric your jacket is made of, you should always avoid using fabric softener, as it clogs and strains the fibers or down and impairs their natural material properties
  • Gently remove stains: In many cases, washing or professional cleaning of your jacket is not even necessary. Light soiling, lint or animal hair can be easily removed with a clothes brush or lint brush. You can tackle small stains with a slightly damp cloth by gently dabbing the area. Proceed with caution, test the treatment on an inconspicuous area first and avoid rubbing vigorously to protect the fibers.
