A pithy feel characterizes the waxed British cotton cloth Ceccarelli uses to make this parka, which also makes it weatherproof. A padding of Italian virgin wool protects against the cold, over which lies a quilted torso lining of cotton. The inner collar and hood are trimmed with a warming teddy lining of 90% wool and 10% polyester. The sleeve linings made of smooth cupro make it easier to put on and take off and increase the wearing comfort. Stressed areas such as the hood peak, pocket flaps, cuffs and torso hem are lined with soft moleskin on the inside. The parka closes with a two-way metal zipper, topped with a buttoned, wind-resistant placket. A drawstring waist gives the parka figure, and the hood and torso hem also have drawstrings. The sleeve width is adjustable by means of latches, metal eyelets under the armpits provide ventilation. Two large flap pockets are inserted in the front, as well as a chest pocket with vertical zipper. An inside pocket with zipper offers further space for small items of daily use.

He soon began to specialise in outdoor clothing, hunting wear and sportswear for men and women, made primarily from wool, cotton and functional fabrics. As a result, Ceccarelli has been producing for Filson their European line under licence for almost ten years. Nowadays, Manifattura Ceccarelli’s own collection includes blazers, shorts, trousers and bags.
