Milantoast contact grill

Caffèbar and contact grill belong together like mozzarella and tomato. Throughout Italy, the electric contact grill from Milantoast has been part of the inventory of bars and caffés since the 1960s. It is the original: the first ever contact grill designed and manufactured in Italy. A classic gastronomic device, heavy and reliable, with ceramic-coated cast iron grill plates in a solid stainless steel housing. You can also recognize the professional appliance by this: excess frying fat runs over the lower, slightly slanted grill plate directly into a drip tray underneath. The included cleaning brush makes it easy to clean the grill plates.

We offer the contact grill in three variants. You have the choice: In one model, both grill plates have a grooved surface. This variant is especially recommended for the preparation of panini, the classic grilled sandwiches from Italy, and the cooking of delicate grilled food (fish, shrimp, white meat). Also try grilled cheese, vegetables (such as green asparagus) or sweets (banana in its skin, pineapple slices) from this device. In the second model, only the upper grill plate is ribbed, while the lower one is flat. If - apart from panini, ham and cheese toast & co. - you like steak, burgers and, for example, grilled eggplant (or zucchini), this is your grill. But on the smooth griddle also succeed tofu, egg and small sausages (with and without meat). The third model comes to you with an unfluted, i.e. smooth grill surface on both sides and can do everything that the second model can do - with the one (small) difference that your grilled food does not get any roasting stripes on the top.
