A straight (and therefore space-saving) standing knife block, which can do without an angled projection, because it is loaded from the side. The block made of oak offers space for 6 large chef's and kitchen knives and a sharpening steel.

For over 70 years, the Mitheis carpentry workshop in Piberbach, Upper Austria, has been producing downright breathtaking kitchen utensils made of wood: in outstanding, detail-obsessed craftsmanship and designed entirely with function in mind. The designs, most of which were created in-house, surprise with an unobtrusive elegance in which the carefully selected material and its processing are in the foreground - and which thus fit into any kitchen without overloading it in terms of style.
