The leather fiber material known as "Lefa" (made from leather remnants and natural latex) is predestined for writing pads and mouse pads: it has a "warm" feel, is highly flexible (i.e. cannot crease) and, thanks to its hydrophobic surface, is insensitive to water (it still leaves stains) and largely resistant to (greasy) marks. The feel is comparable to that of leather and pleasantly soft, so that the computer mouse glides well on it. The material yields slightly when writing, which is why we also offer a large writing pad made of Lefa. Our Lefa products are characterized by a particularly generous material thickness of four millimetres.
