While the dainty side table remains in place and serves its purpose there, drinks and other items can be arranged on the top tray in the kitchen or at the bar and then elegantly and perfectly positioned on the table. The tray’s high rim acts as a guard against items falling off—glasses, small bowls, snacks, and dips won’t slide off the tray even when it’s tilted at a typical angle.
