With this wooden press you can make sowing pots from newspaper. To do this, place a strip of newsprint around the cylinder, fold it over at the bottom, press the whole thing into the tray while turning, and finally fill the container with soil. If the seedling is large enough, you can immediately plant the whole rooted pot in the ground - the paper will decompose in no time.

    Article Number 65386

This two-part press made from solid, waxed beech wood is for making small seed pots from newspaper. A strip of double thickness newspaper is wound around the wooden core, folded back underneath and ‚screwed‘ into the base. The resulting pot can be filled with compost for seeds and once the seedling is strong enough, it can be planted out together with the pot.
