Pillowcase Panama Weave

A sofa can still be so comfortable - for the last bit of coziness provides only a sofa cushion. But to dress this in a cover matching the couch and furnishings is often a time-consuming affair. It can take a while to find the right cushion cover whose fabric, pattern and colors match your own ideas.
We found what we were looking for at the Swedish label Ulrika Gyllstad. Gyllstads® cushion covers not only meet our requirements in terms of feel and look, but also correspond to our wishes in terms of quality. GOTS-certified cotton is used to weave a heavy (basis weight 530 g/sqm) and at the same time pleasantly soft fabric in a dense, firm Panama weave. Here, the threads run as in a plain weave, but several parallel yarns are used in the warp and weft, creating a checkerboard-like structure. This pillowcase also uses strong (Nm 28/2), differently colored yarns: lighter yarns of the respective shade in the warp, darker yarns in the weft. Thus, the pillowcase appears from afar plain and shows only up close its unobtrusive bicolor and the discreet weave structure.
