    General Information

    Today placemats are usually made of plastic as most people think only this material can serve the purpose. Charvet treats the surface of this very robust linen fabric with potato starch which means that it is – ecologically clean – moderately moisture repellant. Stains can be wiped off the starched pure linen placemats with a slightly wet sponge.

      100% linen. Woven in plain weave, treated with potato starch. Basis weight 334 g/sqm. Yarn count in warp and weft Nm 6/2. The undyed linen fabric is hemmed all around with a 5 mm wide selvedge. 35 × 45 cm
