Plancha glass ceramic

A glass-ceramic surface offers several advantages. It can be heated to a very high temperature in a very short time, it is easy to clean. And: glass ceramic can even be used for cooking food. The electric plancha from Milantoast proves it. The table grill for indoors is equipped with a continuous grilling surface made of glass ceramic. In the simple stainless steel casing with a temperature regulator and a pilot light, infrared heating elements work, supplying the required heat without any obstacles. With their help, the glass ceramic plate quickly reaches temperatures of up to 400 °C. So there are hardly any limits to the selection of ingredients. Meat and sausages, bacon, vegetables, fish, seafood, tofu, egg or cheese dough ... grill or fry what you like best. If you want to prepare burgers, you can cook your homemade patties on the glass-ceramic surface and at the same time warm or toast the burger buns a little more. Speaking of bread: As an Italian appliance, this plancha knows just as much about panini, toast and piadine. You can even bake the traditionally thinly rolled flatbread dough made from wheat flour, water and olive oil fresh on the plate and serve it right away, just like mini pancakes, blinis and vegetable pancakes. We recommend brushing the glass-ceramic surface thinly with high-heat vegetable oil or fat before use to prevent burning. Good to know: For easy cleaning, a spatula is included to remove stuck-on food from the plate. As with your glass ceramic cooktop: wipe once with a damp cloth, and you're done! The splash guard and drip tray are dishwasher-safe, as they are made of stainless steel, just like the housing of the Milantoast Plancha.
