    General Information

    The tone makes the music

Simply hit it and the tone and sequence of tones will ring out: playing an instrument couldn't be easier. And when a particularly beautiful tone or even a real melody is created in the process, the children's fun is all the greater. This is why the glockenspiel has been one of the central instruments of early musical education at least since Carl Orff's concept of music education. And as with any instrument, the same applies here: The tone makes the music. If it is tuned clearly and finely, the child's sense of sound is already trained in the long term.
The professional production of this glockenspiel ensures an exceptionally clear tone. Diatonically tuned, the range extends from three-stroked c to four-stroked c - for children, who by nature react to higher notes as intensely as cats to the squeak of a mouse, this is the ideal frequency to capture their attention and listen closely. The frame and support elements are crafted from solid alder wood. The precisely tuned sound plates are firmly screwed onto the wooden supports - underlaid by small felt plates and the screws encased in silicone rings so as not to dampen the full sound and to allow the tone to vibrate purely and clearly. Built solidly in this way, the glockenspiel calmly puts away the enthusiastic swing of childlike percussive power, even in the long run.

    Childlike in color

The wooden supports shine in the colors of the rainbow - not by chance. On a physical basis, each tone is assigned a specific color in the color spectrum; each tone is octavated until it shows the corresponding color in the color spectrum. The synergistic effect of this principle is unsurpassed: Color coding makes it much easier for children to grasp and match a specific note. At the same time, note reading is simplified by the "color language". The glockenspiel comes with a booklet in which some exemplary songs are noted with corresponding color-coded notes. Once the color language has been grasped and successfully tried out, you can color code any notebook.
And off you go! You certainly won't spend long on "All My Ducklings" - your child may soon be ahead of you, busying himself in high tune with many more songs played with the eight notes tuned diatonically. Perhaps you yourself have an instrument that hasn't been played in a long time lying in a drawer or sitting in the corner of your room? Just accompany your child with the same lively zeal - and already arises house music of the happiest kind.
