These napkins are designed to match the striped tablecloth from Tarta Gelatina—but with a reversed color combination: here, green and rosé form one pair of stripes, while red and light blue form another. The stripes in the plain-woven cotton fabric are woven; their slightly lighter heathered tone is created by using natural-colored yarn in the warp and dyed yarn in the weft. The design also features a unique detail: thicker yarn woven in at wider intervals forms a grid-like pattern over the stripes, lending the colorful ensemble a sophisticated lightness. The napkins are finished with an all-around fringed hem. We offer them in the unusual size of 50 × 50 centimeters, in a two-pack of one color combination.

Behind Tarta Gelatina is a creative designer duo from Barcelona. Founded during the quiet hours of the pandemic, Paz Perczyk and Marcel Rodríguez turned a simple idea into a small, exquisite label—with the goal of bringing color and cheer into the home. They’ve succeeded. Tarta Gelatina’s home textiles, household goods, and accessories are characterized by their cheerful array of colors and bold patterns. All products and designs are created at the company’s headquarters in Barcelona and manufactured in small batches—with care and largely by hand—in European and Indian workshops.
