The fiberglass wick in the ceramic wax burner is designed for continuous operation and does not need to be replaced under normal conditions. Nevertheless, depending on the quality of the wax used, it may become sooty to a greater or lesser extent, causing the wick fibers to stick together and impairing the burnup. This soot can be removed as described in the operating instructions. In the event that the wick still needs to be replaced at some point, we offer this three-piece replacement wick. To insert it, the crucible must be heated until the old wick can be pulled out. Then the new wick can be inserted and activated by pouring liquid wax over it.
