Robin lime wood hand carved

Although they do not represent classic migratory birds, these figurines have had an interesting journey: our supplier works closely with some villages in Manchuria, where handicraft woodcarving has a long tradition. Manchurian farmers fill the winter months with carving and painting the figures. Based on the manufacturer's patterns, they now also make these songbirds of European latitudes - so extraordinarily lifelike that they are even suitable as identification aids.
In equally accurately executed handwork, the carved figures are painted with water-based weather-resistant paint, so they can also be placed outdoors: placed on a flat surface or even, since they have a corresponding small opening at the bottom, with the help of a wooden stick stuck into the ground.
