Haws is among connoisseurs one of the very famous manufacturers of classic English (and especially watering) garden tools. In 1880, they made the first watering cans there. Typical of Haws models is the raised filler opening, which prevents water from overflowing when watering. The slightly curved, narrow watering tube without a sprayer is perfectly suited to watering indoor plants in pots. As a metal fabricator, the manufacturer is of course based in the West Midlands, the old "iron" region around Birmingham.
