It is impossible to imagine Brittany without the traditional striped sailor shirt. Armor lux manufactures it from soft and supple cotton interlock, i.e. from two layers, which means that the knitted fabric does not warp. Double stitching on all hems increases durability, and the bound crew neckline is designed without an additional cuff. The cotton comes from controlled organic cultivation.

"Armor" is the Breton word for the sea, and "lux" can only mean the light on the coast. In any case, many of the garments produced by Armor lux still have a maritime character today - sweaters and shirts, dresses, pants, hats, caps and scarves. Founded by a Swiss man in Quimper at the end of the 1930s, the company combines simple, comfortable cuts, classic colors and uncompromising quality in terms of materials and workmanship. Production largely takes place at the company's headquarters in France. For us, Armor lux uses organic certified cotton.

The unisex sizes specified by Armor lux correspond to the following women’s or men’s sizes usually applied in Germany: XS (w36/m46), S (w38/m48), M (w40/m50), L (w42/m52), XL (w44/m54), XXL (w46/m56), EXL (w48/m58).
