This sauna infusion from Oskari offers double the benefits, as it contains salt in addition to various essential oils. We’re familiar with the soothing effect of finely atomized salt from the brisk sea breeze, but also from graduation towers in (spa) towns where salt was once harvested in the saltworks. In the graduation towers, the atomization of the brine creates a very fine mist with a high salt content, which, just like the salty sea air, has an invigorating and liberating effect. As the salt infusion evaporates, such fine aerosols with a higher salt content also form in the sauna.

Nature offers a wide range of medicinal plants, whose potent essences and essential oils humans have known how to use for millennia. The ways to use them are as varied as the plants themselves: as pure essences, teas, ointments, or pastes. When added to a sauna infusion, the essential oils can fully release their intense aroma and, depending on the combination of oils, have either a stimulating or calming effect. Oskari Berlin uses only naturally pure essential oils for its sauna infusions. The fragrance combinations of the individual infusions are based on the principles of aromatherapy, thereby further enhancing the soothing effects of the essential oils.

To use, mix two to five capfuls of the sauna infusion concentrate with one liter of water, depending on your personal preference. Alternatively, add a small amount of the sauna infusion directly to a sauna ladle filled with water.
