Nature offers a wide range of medicinal plants, whose potent essences and essential oils humans have known how to use for millennia. The ways to use them are as varied as the plants themselves: as pure essences, teas, ointments, or pastes. When added to a sauna infusion, the essential oils can release their intense aroma particularly well and, depending on the combination of oils, have a stimulating or calming effect. Oskari Berlin uses only naturally pure essential oils for its sauna infusions. The fragrance combinations of the individual infusions are based on the principles of aromatherapy, thereby further enhancing the soothing effects of the essential oils. This sauna set includes four sauna concentrates for restorative and relaxing sauna infusions and a variety of aromatic experiences.

“Herbal Kick” is a spicy sauna concentrate containing the naturally pure essential oils of rosemary, sage, cedar, camphor, and lavender. With its wonderfully warm, aromatic scent, this sauna infusion revitalizes and awakens the senses. “Alpine Swiss Stone Pine” contains the essential oils of Swiss stone pine, eucalyptus, and pine needles. Spicy and aromatic like a Swiss stone pine forest and fresh like an alpine lake, this concentrate has a soothing, invigorating effect on fatigue and exhaustion. In the “Breathe Deep & Well” infusion, the essential oils of eucalyptus, juniper, and maritime pine refresh and relax, allowing you to breathe deeply and freely. “Löyly” is an authentic Finnish sauna infusion—a truly special aromatic experience featuring resinous, balsamic frankincense, sweet and warm vanilla, and fruity, woody juniper. In Finnish, the burst of steam that occurs when water is poured over the hot stones of the sauna stove is called “Löyly” (= “breath of embers”). Incidentally, this does not increase sweating; rather, the water vapor condensing on the skin creates this sensation.

To use, mix two to five capfuls of the sauna infusion concentrate with one liter of water, depending on your personal preference. Alternatively, add a small amount of sauna infusion directly to the sauna ladle filled with water.
