Visible gravity: these eye-catching shelves made of steel are modeled on a Cartesian grid that deforms - as if attracted by a black hole - by the action of gravity. Thanks to the ingenious, joint-like connections of the individual elements, the grid square can be shifted in itself and up to a rhombus. Depending on the angle of view and the degree of deformation, exciting color games and patterns arise up to the monochromatic impression. A fascinating sculpture with storage function, as an eye-catcher on the dining or desk, in the living room or in the entrance area. Made in Italy, assembled in Berlin, the black and white version is made of powder-coated stainless steel, the red and blue one of lacquered stainless steel, the latter created in collaboration with the Centre Pompidou in Paris. The chosen colors are part of the brand identity of the famous museum, the grid structure is reminiscent of the striking museum building in the heart of the French capital.
