Small rose fork
Potted plant care made easy.
Its specialty is the care of roses and other plants that are in containers. Use this small, two-pronged rose fork to gently loosen and aerate the soil in the pot without harming the plants' delicate root system. The forged tines, sharpened at the tip, easily penetrate even heavily rooted pot balls, so they are also a great help when spreading (rose) fertilizer in containers. Simply fill the required amount into the holes created and gently shake the pot. In this way, you will ensure that the fertilizer is evenly distributed. We obtain this extremely useful utensil from a forge in Franconia.
Garden tools with character
With forging, the Krumpholz family knows its stuff. Based in the Franconian Forest, the ancestors acquired the first hammer mill of their own - the Guttenberg Hammer - in 1799 and produced tools and other everyday items from forged iron. Today, the company's fortunes are in the hands of the eighth generation. The garden tools that leave the production site, which is still in its old location but has long since been modernized and enlarged, are tools of the first order: shaped under the weight of the forge hammer to suit their area of use, compacted and reinforced where necessary, provided with sharpened edges or blades and fitted with high-quality handles made of ash wood. Free-form forging, as practiced at Krumpholz, requires special skill and a sense of proportion. The steel used, a Swedish steel with chrome-molybdenum content, is tough, strong and easy to clean.
