Spanish Crispy Biscuits Rosemary
World-Renowned Tortas by Rosales.
Today, every Spaniard knows the tortas from Rosales; their delicious taste has made them famous. When founder Ines Rosales started baking almost 100 years ago, they were a local speciality of the region around Seville. Based on wheat flour, sugar and olive oil, they come with sweet or savoury ingredients. The crispy, slightly crumbly and at the same time very fluffy tortas have a diameter of about twelve centimetres. Up to this day, they are handmade according to Ines Rosales’ original recipe. The manufacturer has them individually wrapped in paper to keep them fresh for longer. It’s traditional to break the tortas into coarse pieces before serving them.
