Spiral Christmas tree

Taken from the base plate with a handle and stretched to slender height: whether you want the spiral Christmas tree to half or full height (1 m or 1.90 m) up, you can decide thanks to the "trunk" assembled from two parts every year. In one or the other case, the trunk receives stability via the base cross, to which it is easily attached by a wing screw on the underside. Reusable and plastic-free: This lively alternative to the traditional needled green fir is not only recommended to those who hardly recognize their garden from the Christmas trees that are discarded and planted every year. The spiral Christmas tree is made from sturdy, carefully sanded beech plywood. The material has the ideal properties for a Christmas sculpture that fills the room with the natural upward spiral of a slender fir tree: This is because beech wood is already enormously strong by nature and at the same time extremely malleable; as plywood, it gains additional solidity without losing its malleability.

This means you can reliably let the spiral Christmas tree grow to its full size every year from the flat base plate and decorate it with Christmas decorations and lights. If you don't want to wait until Christmas Eve, simply use the spiral tree just as effectively for your own Advent calendar. And when you have finally enjoyed enough festive cheer, simply put the long-lasting Christmas tree back into the base plate to store it flat and save space until the next festive season.

Beech plywood consists of glued and pressed layers of wood, a natural product that always works a little, especially under changing climatic conditions (room temperature, humidity). In addition, the spiral is under tension due to its construction, so the base plate may initially float a little above the floor. We recommend to weigh down the plate for a while, so that it will lower faster.
