Spiral Christmas tree

Taken from the base plate with a handle and stretched to slender height: whether you want the spiral Christmas tree to half or full height (1 m or 1.90 m) up, you can decide thanks to the "trunk" assembled from two parts every year. The material has the ideal texture for a Christmas sculpture that fills the room with the natural upward spiral of a slender fir: Because already by nature beech wood is enormously strong and at the same time excellently malleable; as plywood it gains additional solidity without losing its malleability.

So you can reliably let the spiral Christmas tree grow up to full size out of the flat base plate every year again and decorate it with Christmas ornaments and lights. If you don't want to wait until Christmas Eve, simply use the spiral tree just as effectively for the Advent calendar you've designed yourself. And when you have finally enjoyed enough festive atmosphere, simply put the durable Christmas tree back into the base plate to store it flat to save space until the next celebration.

Beech plywood consists of glued and pressed layers of wood, a natural product that always works a little, especially under changing climatic conditions (room temperature, humidity). In addition, the spiral is under tension due to its construction, so the base plate may initially float a little above the floor. We recommend to weigh down the plate for a while, so that it will lower faster.
