Thirty colours in all, with no repeats! High-quality tablecloth for indoors and outdoors made of a cotton/linen- mixed weave. The colour columns run the length of the tablecloth. The tablecloth is produced in a mill at the foot of the French Pyrenees, where a fifth-generation family-owned firm is still making this splendidly coloured tablecloth.
The Moutet family has been weaving table linen and kitchen textiles since 1919, now in its fifth generation. The products are entirely manufactured in Orthez, in the southwest of France.
Hilton McConnico was one of the first really great designers who decided to work for Tissage Moutet. He revolutionized the traditional striped patterns and created completely extraordinary jacquard patterns. The famous American designer, who was also a painter, decorator and set designer, received numerous awards for his work. Today his works are exhibited in numerous museums around the world.
