Tap Connector Brass

This brass fitting is the more robust and weatherproof alternative to the normal hose coupling systems made of plastic. It is compatible with its plastic relatives though and is suitable for ½-inch garden hoses.

The brass fittings for 1/2" garden hoses are the more robust and also weatherproof alternative to the common plastic hose coupling systems due to the material. However, they are compatible with their plastic cousins and suitable for the corresponding garden hoses. It can thus be easily retrofitted and upgraded.
You need two hose connections or couplings per hose: one (without water stop) on the faucet side and one (optionally with or without water stop) on the unit side. The water stop function is recommended if you have watering rods, spray guns or spray nozzles without their own stop valve: this allows you to stop the flow of water on site.
