To top it all off, the linseed oil, applied sparingly in layers, will care for wooden handles and grips and protect steel parts against rust. Sneeboer, the toolmaker from Holland and manufacturer of many of the garden tools in our assortment, recommends treating garden tools with linseed oil, even before you use them for the first time. In this way, less soil adheres to the tool heads and the handle or stem does not dry out – a measure to extend the life of your tools.
