These towels from Framsohn come from the Waldviertel. Since 1908, all production steps have been carried out under one roof - to produce a quality that is second to none in terry products. Long-staple cotton from controlled organic cultivation (kbA) is twisted so softly that the yarn achieves a higher volume. A special weaving technique gives the towels outstanding volume and they absorb a great deal of moisture. Each one is carefully stitched crosswise with a lockstitch to give it additional dimensional stability.

Framsohn, the name stands for Franz Amstetter & Söhne, in the Waldviertel region of Lower Austria, is the fourth generation of the family to manufacture high-quality home textiles and terry towelling. The family business has always attached great importance to its connection with nature and the local people. This attitude is reflected in several factors. For example, Framsohn weaves the terry towelling from organic-certified cotton. The entire production process still takes place at the company's original headquarters. This reduces transportation routes, allows continuous quality control from the thread to the finished product and enables Framsohn to directly and immediately influence ecological parameters. To document this, Framsohn is audited and certified annually by an independent third party. High standards apply to the manufacture of textiles from organically produced natural fibers - throughout the entire production chain: from the extraction of the textile fibers, through their processing and distribution, to ethical and social criteria.
