Resources can be conserved by giving good things a second life. This does not always have to be done in a direct way: In our search for bed sheets, we came across cloths that the Swedish army sorted out without ever being used. Much too good to throw away! So we have sewn from them these lightweight travel garment bags.
Lightweight for travel.
We have this lightweight garment bag made from strong cotton cloths that once belonged to the stock of the Swedish army. Made between 1960 and 1968, they awaited use there until recently, but were never requested. The recently rediscovered cloths were released from service and found their way to us. One part was made into the travel garment bag shown here, the other part of the cloths can be found - not further processed, but also freshly washed and starched - in our assortment.
The garment bag can be folded twice for transport, buttoned together and carried over the shoulder by the carrying handles. On site then you can use it as a protective cover for coat, suit or dress.
