Espresso. Gently roasted
This strong, chocolaty espresso that Trinci makes for Manufactum consists of 60% Arabica beans from Brazil, Ethiopia and India and 40% Robusta beans from India, Indonesia and Tanzania. They are gently and slowly roasted until they have developed the strong, intensely fragrant notes that are so typical of Trinci espresso. We were so impressed by it that it is also the first choice in our Manufactum Brot & Butter restaurant.
Trinci. Experience and tact
Roasting coffee, as Andrea Trinci does, is by no means a simple task, but a precision craft that requires tact and fine senses. The beans are gently roasted in a container heated by an old wood-fired oven. Trinci judges when they have reached the optimum degree of roasting primarily by their aroma, not by their taste. Trinci follows thereby exemplarily the style of the Italian coffee tradition and preserves at the same time the handed down tradition of the family enterprise founded in 1939.
