Synthesis of throwing disc and ball - Tualoop
In this simple throwing game, players use wooden sticks to throw each other a thin ring that, depending on the direction of throwing, flies like a throwing disc or rolls and bounces like a ball. The origins of Tualoop go back to the French "Jeu des Grâces" (Game of the Graces). Popular as early as the 19th century, this outdoor game was played - as the name suggests - mainly by young ladies and children. With the end of the Belle Époque, however, the game slowly fell into oblivion, only to experience a small renaissance now with a new name (and some rule adjustments).
You can play Tualoop alone, in pairs or with several, and various throwing techniques are permitted: the ring can be thrown with only one stick or accelerated by quickly pulling both wooden sticks apart. And numerous game variations are possible, for example target throwing, golf or field game.
Our Tualoop is completely made in Germany (except for the cotton bag): The sticks are made of domestic beech wood, the throwing ring is made of stable, at the same time flexible Arboblend©, a still quite young biomaterial, which here consists of 100% renewable raw materials (wood fibers, natural resins and glucose) and is therefore free of bisphenol A (BPA) or other toxins.
Not suitable for children under 3 years. Risk of suffocation due to small parts that can be swallowed.
