Usually, these colorful checkered bath towels are only available in standard towel sizes. The Lower Austrian weaving mill Framsohn also manufactures them for us in additional sizes for the bathroom—just as sturdy and durable as the smaller towels. These sturdy, hard-wearing terry towels have made their way from miners’ washrooms into every part of the home: in the bathroom and kitchen, in the garden, or in the workshop, they handle everything without complaint. And stains are practically invisible on the colorful checkered pattern. Thanks to their sturdy half-twist weave, they can withstand not only frequent use but also just as frequent washing. Then as now, weaving mills produce these indestructible terry towels partly to use up leftover yarn in a wide variety of colors, which often accumulated there in large quantities. This also results in the diverse color combinations, which turn out differently every time.

The terry towels are woven from yarn remnants, which is why each towel is different in color. It may even happen that the color combination on one side of the towels results in stripes instead of checks. We can neither specify nor predict what the delivered towel will ultimately look like: So it will be a real surprise.
