Underbed cotton

Unlike simple bed pads made of dense cotton fabrics such as molleton, underbeds usually consist of a filling and a cover. Thus, on the one hand, they are more voluminous and therefore softer and more cushioning. On the other hand, the choice of filling material allows the respective needs of the sleeper and the climatic conditions to be taken into account even better. At low temperatures, an underblanket is supposed to keep comfortably warm, and on hot summer nights, it is supposed to dissipate excess moisture and heat. But some people freeze or sweat faster than others, so that the need for warmth can be quite different in each case - at the same outside temperatures.

This underbed is predestined for people who sweat easily and a lot, because both the cover and the filling are made of soft, absorbent cotton. Cotton can absorb moisture very well and is breathable, so it provides a dry sleeping climate. The cover is a fine, skin-friendly percale made of organic cotton, which is certified according to iVN (international association of the natural textile industry) and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard). The cotton underblanket can be easily washed in the washing machine up to 60 °C and is therefore also well suited for people with allergies to pollen, dust mites or animal hair. Easy to clean, durable and moisture-regulating, the underblanket is therefore a real (and cheap) all-rounder.
