This fastening-free cardigan is made using the Milanese knitting technique, which is known for its fine, dense and elastic texture. Two yarn systems are used, which makes the knitted fabric dimensionally stable, while at the same time giving it a smooth surface and elegant drape. The yarns used are made from skin-friendly, organically grown cotton. The patch pockets hold small items for everyday use and emphasize the casual look. The sleeves are cuffed, giving the jacket a modern touch. The cardigan can be combined with both casual and elegant outfits.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
