Cashmere is one of the finest natural fibers. It is obtained from the fine undercoat of the cashmere goat, which is downy soft and warm, yet light as a feather. However, no newly produced fibers are used in this knitted sweater. Rifò makes it from 95 percent recycled cashmere and five percent recycled wool - a good choice of material that is rarely found in the clothing industry. The sweater is patent-knitted, which gives it a voluminous and three-dimensional knitted look and makes it particularly breathable. And the use of different colored yarns together with the contrasting rib knit cuffs creates a fresh, lively look. The sweater has a loose fit, raglan sleeves and a slightly cropped torso. An all-round comfortable favourite that will accompany you through all seasons and add the necessary splash of color on dull days.

The fashion label Rifò was founded in 2017 by Niccolò Cipriani as a start-up in Prato, Tuscany, with the mission of counteracting overproduction in the clothing industry: with timeless, circular fashion that is largely made from high-quality recycled fibers. Rifò is the Tuscan short form of an inflection of the Italian verb "rifare", which means "to renew" or "to do again", and this is precisely the principle of the Italian label: to create something new from something old. The recycled fibers are obtained from pre-consumer textiles (waste from the textile industry) on the one hand and post-consumer textiles (used clothing donations) on the other. These are either natural fibers or cellulose-based fibers. Rifò produces in the region in order to keep production routes as short as possible and to promote the local economy. The yarn and fabric suppliers that the fashion label works with are mainly located in the textile district of Prato.
