With its soft, flowing drape and comfortable, flared fit, this skirt, which is around ankle-length, creates an elegant, sweeping look, which is enhanced by the pleats at the front and back. The shaped waistband guarantees a good, flattering fit; it has a drawstring at the front, allowing the waist size to be individually adjusted. Care By Me makes the light and airy fabric from skin-friendly, organically grown cotton, which makes it even more comfortable to wear. The midi skirt fastens with a concealed zipper at the side. Two side pockets provide space for small everyday items.

Behind the Danish label Care By Me are designer Camilla Gullits and her business partner Pernille Pold. Their designs bring together Danish design and the traditional craftsmanship of India and Nepal, as their goal is to offer high-quality, durable clothing and home textiles while supporting local women artisans. In Nepal, for example, handmade textiles account for a large part of the national economy; as in India, the production of these textiles has always been in the hands of women. Care By Me therefore collaborates with small workshops where women can learn and practice traditional crafts, thereby providing them with a secure income. The virgin wool comes from the region around Kathmandu and is spun there as well. The cotton used comes from certified organic cultivation; Care By Me sources it from a GOTS- and Fair Trade-certified partner company.
