Ladies linen pants

These Marlene trousers are made of a medium-weight, slightly shiny organic linen fabric in twill weave, recognizable by the distinctive, diagonally running selvage ridge. The luster typical of the material is particularly well accentuated here. A stitched piping that runs the entire length at the front visually stretches the legs. The pants are equipped with two side pockets, two blind pockets are inserted at the back.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.

The garment may rub off onto light-coloured materials such as other garments, furniture and upholstery fabrics.
