Dark serviceberry wood - one of the hardest European woods preferred in cabinetmaking - and light maple veneer form a contrast in these pendants, which subtly emphasizes the stylized representation of the figures. The wooden pendants are handcrafted in a workshop in Weimar. The workshop uses only domestic woods, which remain unstained and unstained and are treated only with a fine layer of satin clear lacquer. The natural hue of the wood and its individual grain together with the finishing by hand make each pendant a small unique.
