This coloring and drawing book introduces you to several animal species, featuring illustrations as well as brief information about each species’ way of life. The river pearl mussel, the bald ibis, the garden dormouse, and more—they all have one thing in common: Unfortunately, they are among the endangered species in our region. That’s all the more reason for us to take a closer look, get to know these animals, and learn to understand them. Renowned animal illustrator and ornithologist Bern Pöppelmann collaborated with the Jane Goodall Institute Germany to create this book, so that we can take our time and look very closely at the pictures as we color them in.
