Hang and clean bird nest boxes

Our native songbirds are among the most industrious helpers in the garden when it comes to combating pests such as aphids and other insects, caterpillars or maggots. For this reason alone, they are welcome garden inhabitants that need to be protected and encouraged. In the summer months, one of the most important measures is to set up bird baths and watering troughs.

If the wild birds wintering in this country do not find enough food during frost and snow, or if you would like to observe the animals in your own garden, additional feeding is recommended. It is important to ensure the necessary hygiene to prevent the transmission of pathogens and to know the feeding habits of the different species.
