This series by Zimmerli is body-contoured and features a sporty cut. It is created on circular knitting machines. The superfine yard goods are cut to size and precisely tailored. The undershirt can be worn as a T-shirt.

The Swiss fine knitwear manufacturer Zimmerli has always used machines built specifically for Zimmerli production. These machines process long-staple cotton. It is spun into a high-twist yarn (unusual for knitted fabrics) and mercerized twice (washed in sodium hydroxide solution), which prevents the finished garments from shrinking and gives the product a silky sheen and a smooth surface. In addition, Zimmerli underwear is elastic both lengthwise and crosswise, even without synthetic additives. Careful inspection of the seams, multiple ironing passes, and final finishing account for more than a quarter of the total production effort.
