With its distinctive wooden toggle closures, this short jacket draws inspiration from the design of a duffle coat—a maritime classic once developed for sailors to protect them from the harsh cold at sea. The outer fabric is similarly inspired: It consists of a warming and temperature-regulating boiled fabric made of pure wool. The construction, however, deliberately breaks with textile tradition: Instead of the usual, rather heavy fabric, the jacket is made of a flexible knit that is boiled under the influence of heat, moisture, and friction. This makes it denser and thus warmer. Nevertheless, it remains—and this is the difference between fulled knits and fulled woven fabrics—breathable and very elastic.

The unlined full-zane jacket features a straight, hip-length fit with a turn-down collar and vertical seam lines on the sleeves. Two slanted welt pockets hold small everyday items and warm your hands when needed. A visually slimming vertical seam at the back rounds out the design. All in all: a timelessly beautiful jacket that will comfortably see you through the transitional season and is so breathable that you won’t break a sweat even as temperatures rise.

"Armor" is the word for sea in the Breton language, and "lux" can only mean the light on the coast.
