Women's Guide to Determining Body Measurements

  1. Chest Circumference
To determine your chest circumference, wrap the measuring tape horizontally around your upper body at the fullest part of your chest.
  2. Waist Circumference
To determine your waist circumference, wrap the measuring tape around the narrowest part of your waist, usually just above your navel. Measure without sucking in your stomach.
  3. Hip Circumference
To measure your hip circumference correctly, stand with your feet close together and wrap the measuring tape horizontally around the fullest part of your hips.
  4. Inseam
Measure the inseam along the inside of your leg from the crotch to the sole of your foot.

Head Circumference
Place the measuring tape about one centimeter above your eyebrows and ears, around the widest part of your head.

Hand Circumference
Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your hand, over the knuckles, without including the thumb.

Foot Length
Stand barefoot on a sheet of paper and put your weight on your foot. Trace the outline. Then measure the distance from your heel to the tip of your longest toe.
