For more than 25 years, Grand Step Shoes has stood for comfortable shoes that are produced from natural materials under fair conditions in a sustainable manner. It is part of the self-image of the label, which was founded in Mainz and is now based in Pirmasens, to attach great importance to the testing and certification of the materials used. For this reason, Grand Step Shoes follows the guidelines of the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) and the IVN (International Association of the Natural Textile Industry). In manufacturing, Grand Step Shoes has been working with the same partners for years and maintains close, personal contact with the factories, often small family businesses, in Europe and Vietnam. Compliance with an internationally recognized "Code of Conduct" ensures that the people employed there work under fair conditions and for appropriate pay. These criteria also apply to the companies involved in the entire supply chain. With such care regarding production, it comes as no surprise that Grand Step Shoes also demonstrates similar meticulousness when it comes to wearing comfort - borne of profound knowledge of the foot anatomy and suitable materials.
